Sugar Spice N Everything Nice
I love bold, oversized jewels with fun, flirty looks; it creates the perfect concoction of high and low. Also, I've been in dire need of gloves for quite some time now, dainty ones as well as the motorcycle kind; what if I just take scissors to my toe socks, voila?
I absolutely love the way an overload of accessories look with casual outfits and despite the plethora of jewelry I possess, I often leave the house with no more than a pair of non matching earrings and a lone bangle, go figure...
Bright, punchy color palettes are the best! Knowing that what you look like often affects what you feel like, candy colored clothes are not only feminine and fun but there is a good chance they'll increase your mood. Experimenting with bright combinations and different textures, like a bright, sequined cardigan and a boldly colored graphic tee easily creates a fun, funky, and youthful look.

But Tomorrow May Rain So I'll Follow The Sun
I fully realize that I am inexcusably tardy beyond legitimate reasoning regarding my new found love for The Beatles. Prior to a few months ago, The Beatles were nothing more than a stagnant mystery to me, but thanks to my crush (pause for romantic sigh, hee hee) I have now fully boarded the BeatleMania bandwagon. Their music being upheld as that of insurmountable greatness even decades after their heyday, today's prepubescent girls rocking band tees and patches; it is easily proven, without a doubt, that The Fab 4 definitely had that somethin'.
On a related note, this is Jude, my acoustic guitar. I have always imagined myself as one of those prairie skirt wearing, wavy and disheveled hair having women singing the sounds of my soul in a hole-in-the-wall cafe. I can't wait to finally be able to put my many notebooks full of poetry to music. First lesson: Locating and memorizing the G chord, heh heh. My father got me Guitars for Dummies on DVD, and despite the slight negative connotation in the title, I'm looking forward to mastering this beautiful instrument and getting my strum on; tips and advice are graciously welcome.

Bad Kitty
Firstly, in order to wear leggings as pants, it is important to have a smaller, not so evidently sexy frame. Meaning, a woman with voluptuous hips and bodacious booty would cause the look to appear overly sexy; while someone with a smaller, less curvy lower half would bring a needed monotony to the look and the sex appeal would not be so blatant.
Oversized tees, flannels or sweatshirts are best with this look because it brings in an effortless, cute factor; however, a fitted tee can work as well, as long as it is not bursting with sex appeal.
As a whole, the mastering of this look basically comes down to an effortless approach. Thinking more comfy, cozy, and casual rather than hot and sex kittenish will allow for perfect execution, trust me, the sexy thing will creep in there on its own.

(wearing: sunnies- gift, puffy white vest- ?, barbie tee- vintage, shiny leggings- rave, blue hi tops- downtown la, jewelry- downtown la, clear hk tote- xams gift with matching bath set)
Incase you were previously unaware, always buy leggings a size smaller than usual. I promise you, there are few things less fun than having to yank your pants up every three steps, swag killer for sure.
...wondering if my vintage, collector's Barbies that I was never allowed to play with have accumulated enough wealth over time in order to finance those leggings that look like denim, I guess they're calling them jeggings.I've been salivating over them for weeks now and I just recently found a distressed pair that I absolutely neeeed. Have you seen them yet?
Although Valentine's Day is a more than a few weeks away, it seems the hype has already begun. Do you already have a Valentine?

Cohesive Classics
Chuck Taylors win hands down as the coolest shoe to ever grace the streets. From the eighties to the present, it seems that Chucks have easily proven themselves as the definition of "classic". Whether you're the hipster, gangster, or even the glamazon; Chuck Taylors offer comfort, class, and versatility that anyone can relate to. With tons of different styles and designs, not to mention one of the best price tags you'll find when it comes to footwear, it's hard not to get a little carried away, as I bought my ninth pair just last week.
My favorite thing about Chucks is the mega versatility they allow. I'm not sure if it's a universal thing or just my personal style, but Chucks serve as the perfect accompaniment to leggings, skinny jeans, and even dresses. I run, dance, and work in my Chuck Taylors, all the while looking cool doing it, and with the comfort of knowing my feet won't hurt at the end of the day.
Classic Coolness and Comfortability, what more can you ask for?
